Programmes and projects

Four programme areas,one coordinated approach.

The club organises its work into four programme areas. Each addresses a distinct part of environmental practice, from classroom education through to institutional advocacy.

01

Environmental education

Structured workshops, public seminars and school outreach designed to build environmental literacy rather than awareness alone.

Sessions are delivered by trained members and are open to the public where capacity allows.

  • Termly workshop series with published materials.
  • School outreach in partnership with local teachers.
  • Public seminars on waste, water and tree cover.

02

Community projects

Tree planting, waste collection and recycling initiatives delivered in partnership with local assemblies.

Every project begins from a need the community identifies, and ends with a published record of what was done.

  • Tree planting with quarterly survival monitoring.
  • Household waste separation pilots.
  • Recycling points with weekly collection.

The leadership intensive runs twice a year and is a route into leading a project of your own.

  • Six-week intensive covering facilitation and proposal writing.
  • Mentorship pairing with an experienced project lead.
  • Project ownership after successful completion.

Advocacy & partnerships

Institutional engagement intended to secure policy commitments that extend beyond individual campaigns.

Partnerships are formalised through a memorandum of understanding so that obligations on both sides are written down.

  • Memoranda with district and municipal assemblies.
  • Joint delivery with partner organisations.
  • Published positions on local environmental policy.
