Why join

What membership gives you

Membership is a commitment in both directions — the club asks for participation and provides training, structure and a record of what you have done.

  • A project to work on

Every member joins at least one programme area and contributes to live work.

  • Training that counts

Facilitation, proposal writing and project management, delivered twice a year.

  • A published record

Your contribution appears in the project record and the annual report.

  • A route to leading

Members who complete training can propose and lead a project of their own.

  • A say in how it runs

Members elect the executive committee and vote at the general meeting.

Your category

Membership categories are set by the constitution.

Permanent Members established the club and remain in office unless they resign. They are exempt from dues and from the registration fee.

Active Members accept the constitution and pay the fee. They receive certificates on completing projects, activities and registration.

Honorary Members may be individuals or institutions, are decided by the Board of Directors, and are exempt from both fees.
