Membership

Membership is opento ages 16 to 40.

Membership is open to young people aged 16 to 40 who support the club's sustainability principles, adhere to the constitution and complete registration.

What membership gives you

The constitution sets out what every member is entitled to.

  • A vote in the General Assembly

    Participate and vote in the General Assembly, the club's decision-making body.

  • Eligibility for office

    Stand for election to any leadership position in the club.

  • Activities and training

    Take part in Eco-USC activities, workshops and conferences.

  • A route for your own ideas

    Propose initiatives aligned with the objectives of the organisation.

  • Freedom to leave

    Withdraw at any time by submitting a letter of resignation to the Secretary General.

Your category

Membership categories are set by the constitution.

Permanent Members established Eco-USC. They remain in office unless they resign, and are exempt from dues and the registration fee.

Active Members accept the constitution and pay the fee. Dues are capped at 1 euro per month and the one-time registration fee is 2 euros, with each country chapter making the final decision. Certificates are issued on completing projects, activities and registration.

Honorary Members may be individuals or institutions supporting Eco-USC's mission. The Board of Directors decides on them, and they are exempt from both fees.

  • Pay membership fees

    Monthly

    Dues are capped at 1 euro per month, with a one-time registration fee of 2 euros. Permanent and Honorary Members are exempt, and the Board may waive the registration fee.

Ending membership

How membershipcomes to an end.

  • Resignation

    A member may resign their membership.

  • Exclusion

    Membership may be ended by exclusion under the constitution.

  • Graduation

    Membership ends on graduation.

Induction

From applicationto full membership.

Applications are reviewed monthly. Probation lasts three months.

    Complete the application form. It takes about ten minutes.

    Review

    Applications are reviewed at the monthly general meeting.

  3. 03

    Probation

    Three months, participating in all activities and completing a training programme.

  4. 04

    Confirmation

    The Governing Board confirms or denies membership at the end of probation.
